Understanding Myself and Social Media

Social Media is my worst and best friend at the same time. Recently I have really struggled to keep up with all my modern-day responsibilities, plus staying in touch with the people who kindly put aside their own personal time to see what I have been up to.

What I'm really interested in at the moment is connecting with you, the viewer, and being able to exercise my ideas and stories in the clearest possible way. I'm not sure what it is that I haven't been doing in the past, but I hope I can keep learning and understanding more about myself and the world around me every day.

I know most of you are English speakers, but it's also important for me to shout out to those of you who follow along with a copy of Google Translator running in the background. It proves that photography and art itself has its own language, which by now should be no surprise to you at all.

For anyone who is already connected to my networks, a massive thank you! You have made this what it is, as without these communities I wouldn't have nearly the same amount of support as I do today!

For those of you who aren't already connected, this is my chance to remind you that for all the shares, likes and comments that drop below my images, it seriously helps me leaps and bounds, and doesn't cost you a cent. Sharing my website with your friends and family goes even further when real-world reactions turn into genuine conversations about art and their associated themes. You're helping make the world a better place.

I used to be able to get back to each and every single message, even have really in-depth conversations with anyone willing to enter my inbox. Those days might have worn thin for many reasons but do know that it means the world to me when you share your thoughts about my work.

I am going to do my best to get back to as many of these messages as physically and mentally possible, but for the time being, my main focus will be directing my attention to the photography, primary themes and subjects itself, which will, in turn, continue to grow substance within my imagery and become even stronger.
