The series Home was inspired when I began to recognise places I was familiar with on the ground and then later how they appeared from the air while flying over Melbourne's suburbs.

A varied metropolis ranging from both busy and quiet environments is a true representation of this place. I wanted to pay respect to my hometown and share some hidden secrets or places that otherwise wouldn't be visible from the ground.

To begin the series I wanted to share some of Melbourne's suburban secrets. St Kilda, which is not the oldest nor one of the newest areas of Melbourne's suburbs, however it was certainly not prepared for the influx of contemporary living it holds today. This particular parcel of land has been kept vacant has because nobody wants to be completely surrounded, it's just not the lifestyle Australians want to live. Therefore this block has been kept vacant for rear access for the surrounding homes, which also isn't used.
